SYK is a custom built WordPress site for Samuels Yoelin Kantor, LLP. I built this while working with Carpe Viam Marketing who designed the site. There were several challenges with this site including a custom Attorney grid, modal info card, and bio page. I also built custom attorney carousels using the Owl Carousel
WP Jump Start
I used the WP Jump Start Framework as the base for this site. Jump Start is an incredibly flexible, easy to use framework from ThemeBlvd.
The home page features a responsive Attorney carousel where visitors can click on a name and see a bio card for that Attorney. From there they go to their full bio.
Shortcodes
By using Custom Post Types and Advanced Custom Fields, I created easy to use shortcodes to help the firm manage their Attorney profiles.
My goal when building a site is to make it as easy to use and manage as possible. So often I have rebuilt sites by other developers who built a site that looked great but fell apart when the client wanted to make changes or that were so complex that the client couldn’t handle making updates on their own.
